Podcasts works by sound and can have video but don't always have it. You can search them by their name or by the type you want to search by. When you are sick you could still learn what was going on in that class that day. Video blogs Use sound and video also. People can see you and find out were you live and some advantages are that you can see and talk with your relatives that live in another country.

You can find a lot of different types of podcasts that might pertain to your interest at the Itunes Store, where you type a keyword of what you are looking for in the search box to see what comes up. You can consult directories, like The Podcast Network, or The Podcast Directory, and you are likely to find an intriging listing.
3. Teachers can find podcasts that pertain to their lesson, or create podcasts that pertain. They can also assign homework like answering the questions that follow a certain podcast.
4. An advantage is that if you are trying to learn how to do something, you can see it be demonstrated, or learn how it looks like or what it should be. But, if you posted something, and people responded in all video-casts, then it would take awhile to look through all them and respond.
Podcasting is RSS that is used to syndicate and distribute audio files. Podcasting contains an audio file in the RSS feed's enclosure tag. You can find podcasts your interested in by searching a website with what you want to look for. It could help learning by haveing foreign countries teach us their languages. Video blogs are related because everyone can see them. Video blogs can only be used as a teaching tool too.

My advantages are is if kids are trying to learn something off of the podcast that they got learn it easier and it could be demonstrated for them, and maybe some kids learn easier if they can see what it looked like first.

3. I think a teacher could use a podcast to help their students with homework problems or if the teacher is sick one day they could use a podcast to tell what the students are supposed to do.
4. The advantages are that in a video blog you can actually see what the person is saying and what they are doing, so it's more visual versus a podcast. In a podcast sometimes people could mispronunce a word and it may confuse people, but a video blog will be easier.

You can syndicate and distribute audio files.It combines the freedom of mp3's with blogging. If you search for pod casts and find lots of mp3's and pod casts out of the web.When people are searching information they could listen to pod casts and learn about current news.
