i think of a poor community working together. It looks like they cant afford food
ReplyDeleteI think of small African villages, filled with people. I think of a woman going to get water from the lake or well. I think of women selling bananas.
ReplyDeleteI think that this picture is very sad. It reminds me of people who have nothing and don’t have the essentials to live on. It makes me feels so bad that people in the world have to live like that. Trying just to get their daily food let alone a shower or bed.

ReplyDeleteI think this picture is very sad. It makes me think of my life and how gratful I am to live the life I have. This picture makes me also think of all the people who live in poverty and how much they would like to live in a better place.

ReplyDeleteAt first glance, the picture looks like a rather poor society in Africa. It also makes me think of people living a simple, but happy life in an unindustrialized world. I imagine that these people put a lot of value in family and community rather than money.
ReplyDeleteMy first thing that comes to my mind is people in Africa. They don’t look like they have many supplies or shoes. It looks like they don’t live in a home. The lady might be going to get some food. The lady sitting on the ground looks like maybe she is trying to sell some of her food to get money. I think the picture is sad and it looks like the people have nothing.

ReplyDeleteFirst I think that the video is from a different country, about their poverty or someone just visiting. I just watched the video and what I got out of it was that they were describing the way the woman is dressed and what the clothing can be used for.
ReplyDeleteI find this to be an almost depressing scene. It looks as if it would be the kind of area overflowing with the poor that cannot afford the basics of life including food and I even noticed that this woman is not wearing any shoes. I would think in an area full of sand shoes would be almost necessary so you don’t hurt yourself stepping on broken glass or rocks. I almost wish I could do something to help.

ReplyDeleteLife of no money and unsanitary, unhealthy life styles, old bananas, and cloth wraps for clothing, no shoes. its a Life of begging and stealing.

When I look at this image I think of Africa. Looking at the image makes me want to go to Africa.
